Our world is experiencing a global demographic shift. By 2050 there will be an estimated 2.1 billion individuals age 60 and older, and the demand for professionals specializing in aging is growing across a wide range of disciplines, including healthcare, long-term care, biomedical engineering, social services, and business leadership.
The University of Arizona Health Sciences Innovations in Aging program, designed for busy students and professionals, prepares the next generation of changemakers to meet the local and global needs of this rapidly growing population. Our programs are available domestically and internationally—everywhere you are. Our two programs are stackable meaning credits for the Graduate Certificate fully apply to completion of the Master of Science degree and constitutes one-third of the course requirements. As a result you can earn both a Graduate Certificate and a Master’s Degree. There is also a stackable option in the master’s program with the Aging Law and Policy Graduate Certificate whereby you can earn a Graduate Certificate and Master’s degree in Innovations in Aging and a Graduate Certificate in Aging Law and Policy with the same number of credits as a Master’s Degree alone.
